Bill: Beautiful shot. I did my usual run there yesterday, before it snowed, and I didn't see any. Figured they took advantage of the couple of days of decent weather, and left. I thought I heard them, but at my blazing running speed, ( joke ), I couldn't eyeball any. There was a mixed flock of Tree, and Violet Green Swallows around Brstol Slough, though, feeding on some kind of hatch just above, or on the water. Cheers, Thor

Hi Al: Just to keep you up-to-date, the Mountain Bluebirds seem to have vacated the Hope Airport. I see some were reported in the Seattle area today, so we may still have another " wave ". I'm sure either Mac, or I will report here if we see any. I was at the airport for about an hour this p.m. It seemed pretty quiet. An American Kestrel was on the hunt, and Turkey Vultures were doing their thing aloft. Usual sparrows- Savannah, Alaskan Song, and White Crowned. Ruby crowned Kinglet seem very active now around the Hope area, including the airport. On the slough; Double Crested Comorant, and Common Merganser. At Sucker's Creek/Thacker's Marsh were Red winged Blackbirds, Great Blue Heron, Evening Grosbeak, Wood Duck, Mallard, Yellow rumped Warbler, Tree Swallows, and I think Mac, and Dorothy saw Hooded Merganser there yesterday. Cheers, Thor
