John Vooys, Larry Hooge and myself had a good day in Manning today. We stopped by Hope Airport a briefly saw 3 Sandhills Cranes as we drove around. At Alison Pass we saw an Osprey high overhead. It wasn’t very birdy, but did see 24 Bohemian Waxwings at Lightening Lakes. On our drive up towards the Heather trail I saw several Cassin’s Finch and another surprise for the day a Palm Warbler that we all had brief but clear looks at. This was at about the 6200’ level where a light snowfall covered the trees Ed Klassen
