Four mew gulls flew over my place on the weekend. A new yard bird for me.

Wilband had at least 6 Meadowlarks singing Monday morning. They were in the trees at the parking lot and flew into the blueberry field to the east. There may have been many more there. The Canvasbacks were up to 6.

Sandhill Cranes were seen flying over the highway between the Prest and Annis exits and later seen in the Ryder Lake area.

I don't see pileated woodpecker on the list yet; had one fly in and land on my sunflower seed tube feeder yesterday (Abbotsford). It didn't seem to know what it should do next.

Had 1 Northern Pygmy Owl and 1 Hutton's Vireo on Oct 27 in the yard.
