Among a number of American and Eurasian Wigeon at Blackie Spit today, I found this “odd duck.” I assume it’s a hybrid, as it shows colouration on its head from both species. The photo is heavily cropped, but shows what I’m talking about.

That is an eye catching guy. I would say it is still a pure Eurasian Wigeon as they can show some green like that on their heads. It's not a stretch to assume hybrid though if one applies some logic to it.
The American Wigeon in the foreground looks like one of the quite uncommon guys with white faces. Interestingly, I photographed one at Willband last week that I havn't had a chance to share.
Saw your Scrub Jay yesterday morning first thing. Good job you have going there with the feeders and educational posters.
