Dian and I hiked around Wilband this evening when we saw this otter running towards us. We stayed as still as possible and the otter kept coming. It's hard to stay still with a charging animal approaching but finally, when it go to within 3 -4 meters it veered off- perhaps deterred by the click of the camera,

Wowsers great capture you guys! They're not small animals either and carry that weasel look it could be a bit unnerving to have one bearing down on you like that. I've not seen them for quite awhile at the park. Nice to see at least one still around.
