A few years ago, I posted a photo of leucistic Spotted Towhee in our back yard. Yesterday, another arrived. It is much more shy than the many other Towhees around our yard. I was able to get a photo again.

Interesting bird, looks a lot like a California Towhee. Good work catching a photo. Bruce and Joanne

imperialbirders, I agree with Joanne that that bird deserves a closer inspection. While not perfect for a California, it does look somewhat that way. Please try and get some more photos if you can.

We are trying to get a better photo of this bird. We looked carefully with binoculars and this bird is very blonde, not brown as is the California Towhee. It comes to our backyard with the Spotted Towhees. If we get a better photo we will post it.
