This is the first time they are coming to my feeder and doing it on a regular basis. They like not only my seed feeder but love the suet. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr

They can be very annoying. At our feeder they've been mostly a bit of a problem with the suet so far. There are suet feeders that offers the suet upside down which allows the birds happy to cling upside down (woodpeckers, chickadees, nuthatches, bushtits) to still feed but would also exclude the numerous other species. Or, one can get suet feeders surrounded by wire mesh that allows the smaller birds in but not the larger starlings.

Good points Gord. I had one of the upside-down ones when I was living in Langley (there are lots around Brydon Lagoon). It was generally very effective although I would still find the odd starling that figured it out. Worth the purchase for sure though. Pileated woodpeckers are a bit too big for the one I had however.
At my current place there are starlings that breed along the pasture but rarely venture into the yard (so far anyway...knock on wood).
