Today along Vye Road where some gull had gathered was this really neat Glaucous Gull. It is a 3rd winter specimen but the bill is the most 3rd winter part of the bird with the rest of the bird looking pretty much completely adult. Closer inspection and seeing it in flight one can see some sub-adult feathers though. An interesting bird and very sharp looking.

Oh cool! I may have to swing out that way tomorrow... still don't have a Glaucous Gull! LOL Hopefully I can get a good shot too - that's a nice one!
