I'm going with sharpie on this one. Rounded head with proportionally large-appearing eye. Hard to see nape well but it doesn't appear grey.

I'll go with Cooper's due to: Thick tarsus Bulky body (he's fat) Tail appears like it could be rounded

Rounded tail is less of an OD feature as is all of the tail feathers being the same length, which can at rimes still give the tail a rounded appearance. Cooper's has tail feathers of graduated lengths. I'm sticking with sharp-shinned still. Thanks for the opinions so far..... sorry, no better photo than the one posted and we are not on facebook so will just watch here to see if anyone else has thoughts.

I took the liberty of posting this to What's This Bird and the consensus is Cooper's Hawk. Good call Jon!
It was felt there was a pale nape and a "blocky" head. Additional features for Cooper's included thick legs and uneven tail feathers.
Just when I thought I was getting comfortable with these 2 species!
