I hadn't had too much time to get out and about much in October. I did manage to go for a walk last weekend, yesterday, and today. Overall, nothing too surprising around. Lots of Canada and Cackling Geese - I think these are Cackling Geese, thoughts? Yesterday there was a sharp-shinned hawk hanging around so the songbirds were remaining pretty quiet! And today a red-tailed hawk flew out of the fog. Took a fair amount of editing to try and clear it up but overall I was pretty happy with the result!

Today while relaxing and watching the football game I noticed a couple Steller's Jays hanging about - they were around because I put my feeders up today for the first time since spring because of bear activity. Anyway, I finally got some decent Steller's Jay photos:
