Bullock's Oriole have a very unique voice which is hard to confuse with other bird calls. I have been hearing these birds for several weeks and finally this morning I was able to get images of a pair. This pair was in Hougen Park on the Sumas Prairie and they were darting from one side of the river to the other and through the willow trees and a cherry tree. They did not stay still for long and called out frequently. MacDonald Park was a particularly good place for them last year and for a number of years I have come across them at the Matsqui Trail Park; Page Rd entrance. Just tune yourself for their calls and they should be easy to find.
