Bank Swallows at Willband Creek Park yesterday. I spotted an American Goldfinch in backyard this morning. A nice bright spot of yellow this fine morning

Had an opportunity to observe and compare both Greater and Lesser Scaup and R.N. Ducks on the lagoon at Harrison Lake just before noon today.

I had my first Warbling Vireo at Island 22. There was a Northern Pygmy-Owl in Ryder Lake.

Bank Swallows at Willband Creek Park yesterday. I spotted an American Goldfinch in backyard this morning. A nice bright spot of yellow this fine morning Bank swallows are a very good find for Willband, especially in multiples. Are you sure they weren't northern rough-winged?

Hi My wife was making bread this morning at the kitchen window, when outside in our red barked maple flew a flock of Western Tanagers eating little green worms from the leaves. There were about 6 males and two females. What a beautiful bird.

On the 27th I had a Cassin’s Vireo, Townsend’s warblers and Nashville warblers in North Bend.
