 Anna's from BBC
« Thread Started on Nov 3, 2009, 10:30am »

Came across some cool new research into Anna's Hummingbirds from the BBC. The BC Bird site had a link to an exotic Spatuletail Hummer from Peru. A BBC crew has filmed it's mating ritual for the first time... What an incredible bird! Got to love Sir. David Attenbourgh!

A little closer to home, a couple of related stories on the BBC site were about Anna's Hummingbirds. The Peru hummer was found to make a clicking noise with their mouths, while Anna's produce it with their tails like snipe. And of course they are faster than jets... literally!!!

Wow cool video. Hummingbirds are amazing birds.

The BBC has wonderful nature documentaries.
