The last few day's I've spotted two new ducks in our slough. If I'm correct the first picture is of American Wigeons.

I just wanted to double check on the ID of this duck. I believe it is a Northern Shoveler. If I'm wrong please let me know, as these are two new birds to add to my yard list (bringing the number to 47).

yes you're right on both. Male and female Am. Widgeons and a female N. Shoveler.
