On the way to the children's ball game, we checked the little bit of flooded field on Hopedale Road. Up until now, I hadnt spotted any shorebirds in this particular pond but today there were two Wilson's Phalaropes. On the way home from the game we checked again but could not see them. They could have been behind the grass though.
